KWAYA Crossgrade is a virtual choir library that brings the unmistakable intensity of African vocal performance into music productions. Producer Eduardo Tarilonte recorded the award-winning Aba Taano choir from Uganda — four men and two women — individually at Eldana Studio in Spain. The result is a deeply expressive sample collection for film scores, documentaries, game soundtracks, and ambient atmospheres.

Six Solo Voices and 40 Syllables per Singer

Each singer recorded 40 syllables, switchable via keyswitch, plus five true legato vowels and the signature "Mmmh" articulation. A Phrase Arranger offers 20 phrases of 8 syllables each, with timing under the composer's control. Over 700 vocal effects and 16 soundscapes add extra atmosphere.
