A Space Modeler Instead of Sampled Impulse Responses

X-Verb is a reverb plugin from DSpatial that models and renders acoustic spaces rather than playing back captured impulse responses. Indoor and outdoor spaces are analysed, modeled and rendered, and the 10-channel IR modeler in every instance produces totally decorrelated outputs for immersive work. The library covers studios, stadiums, churches, tunnels, gymnasiums, streets, alleyways and concert halls.

Built for Post-Production and Immersive Mixing

Dual reverb mode runs two complete reverberations at the same time in two layers, so scene changes happen smoothly and instantly and can be edited with Pro Tools automation. Reverb time can be adjusted seamlessly from 0.1 to 10 seconds while the tonal and acoustic properties of the model are preserved.

Who It Is For

X-Verb is the right choice for sound designers and mixers working on dialogue, Foley, ambiences and immersive projects on the Mac. It runs as an AAX and AU native plugin on macOS 12 or newer and requires Pro Tools 12 or newer for AAX use and a physical iLok 2 or iLok 3 USB key. Windows is not supported.
