Transparent Saturation in Seconds

Sapphire Drive is built to get out of the way: load it on a channel, choose a saturation type and set the amount. It adds warmth, presence or weight depending on the chosen type, and its ultra-low CPU usage lets you use it on individual tracks, across buses or on the master.

Four Saturation Types

Bloom adds shimmering upper-mid sparkle, presence and air. Tape I delivers classic tape warmth with a gentle roll-off and smooth transients, while Tape II pushes the tape harder for denser mids and more grit. Thick adds raw low-mid mass, body and density. The Tone control is part of the circuit, so turning it up excites more overtones and pulling it back gives a warmer, darker character. A built-in level match, dry/wet mix for parallel saturation and input/output gain complete the controls.

Sapphire Drive suits producers and mixing engineers who want musical saturation on vocals, bass, guitars, piano, drum buses or full mixes. Zero latency with oversampling off makes it usable for tracking, and up to 16x oversampling is available when maximum clarity matters.
