About the Library

Our goal was to introduce something truly exceptional to the realm of virtual pianos. During our research and development, we tested our innovative recording technique on the same Yamaha C7 that was featured in our original Pearl Concert Grand, recorded in the same concert hall. The results were so impressive that we knew we had to share this experience with the world.

Camellia Concert Grand, much like Magnolia Studio Grand, is designed to be immediately playable and inspiring. It excels with its expansive dynamic range and control, showcasing the culmination of our extensive experience and cutting-edge technology.

About the Technology

To ensure an accurate and consistent performance, we employed a human-supervised machine to strike the piano keys, applying the same pressure for each recording at a given velocity. This approach grants you unprecedented control and stability while playing. Our exclusive SpectralFusion technology allows for seamless transitions between velocities, providing an unmatched sensitivity to touch. With such a responsive and versatile instrument at your fingertips, you can express your musicality without constraints.

About the Instrument

The Yamaha C7, a 7’6” concert grand, is renowned for its long, resonant strings and exceptional quality. A favorite in performance venues worldwide, this grand piano is celebrated for its powerful sound and expressive dynamic range. The bass notes are particularly valued for their warmth and richness, while the treble notes soar beautifully.

This iconic piano’s rich tonal qualities are why we chose it as our flagship instrument, and it was the first choice when we sought to experiment with a new recording technique. Its ability to deliver both grand, booming sounds and delicate nuances makes it suitable for any genre, including classical, pop, scoring, jazz, and more.
